At Leeds Jewish Welfare Board, we offer a diverse range of volunteer roles to suit various interests, skills, and schedules. Whether you’re passionate about lending an empathetic ear, organising events, or providing practical assistance, we have a role for you.
- Befriending and Companionship
Spend quality time with individuals in need of companionship, offering a listening ear and a caring presence.
- Events and Activities
Help with the organisation and smooth running of our events and activities throughout the year.
- Administrative Support
Assist with office tasks, such as data entry, answering phones, and helping with mailings, ensuring smooth operations.

YOUR support keeps our doors open!
It costs us £300,000 a year just to keep the doors to our community centre open.
The money YOU raise, the items YOU donate and the time YOU volunteer helps us to positively change the lives of thousands of people in our community; YOUR neighbours, family, and friends.
Making a regular Monthly Donation goes a long way
Contributes towards the cost of transporting people to and from the MAZCC who would otherwise be isolated in their own home.
Helps provide kosher food for children & families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
Helps co-ordinate and deliver inclusive social groups for adults who require additional support.
Contributes towards the cost of bringing together 70 people a week for an afternoon of live entertainment.
