Leeds Jewish Welfare Board’s new learning disabilities home “Woodlands House” is ready to receive its new residents!
LJWB and Donisthorpe Hall are delighted that support from the Marcia and Andrew Brown Charitable Trust has supported the relocation of 16 of LJWB’s residents with learning disabilities to their new home, on the site of Donisthorpe Hall.
We were delighted to welcome Chazan Alby Chait to fix the Mezuzah on the front door and deliver a blessing. Russell Manning, Chairman of LJWB hosted a short ceremony to mark the occasion thanking everyone who has made this possible.
The residents are very excited and looking forward to moving into the new house next month!
