Team Leader

Do you love helping people to live fulfilling lives, get involved in their community and make a difference?  If so, you could be the person for us.  We are looking for passionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers who want to help us make a difference to our service users in our learning disability service.

You will undertake a wide range of key tasks which will include assisting residents with personal care, cooking, domestic duties, going out and having fun.  As a key worker you will work closely with our service users and help them to develop and achieve their personal support plans.

You will be required to work any five days out of seven, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank holidays.  You will also be required to undertake sleep in duties, for which an additional allowance is paid.

You will need excellent communication skills, be willing to be flexible and attend training.

Waking Night Support Worker


Salary: £16,085.16 per annum

31.5 hours a week average (63 hours over 2 weeks)

One week 3 shifts, next week 4 shifts – between the hours of 22:30 – 07:30

Rolling Rota – Week 1: M,T,S,S Week 2: W,T,F

Location: Based at LS17.

Support Worker – FULL Time – 37.5 hours, salary: £17,394

You will be required to work any five days out of seven, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank holidays (Enhanced rate).  You may be required to undertake sleep in duties, for which an additional allowance is paid.

Desirable Criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 / Diploma in Health & Social Care – anyone who does not have NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care must be prepared to do the Care Certificate within their induction period
  • Experience of learning disability support/care work
