Our service supports adults with learning disabilities, complex emotional needs and also includes people with physical disabilities and people with mental ill health issues.  As a support worker you will have responsibility for up to 8 residents in one home who may require your support with their personal care needs from 10.00pm to 7.00am the next day.    On-call support is available within the same service.

This role is 63 hours worked over a 2-week period.

To be part of our ambitious team you will need excellent communication skills, a positive outlook and caring and compassionate approach.  You must be willing to be flexible and as part of your personal development attend mandatory training during daytime hours.

Role requirements :

Minimum NVQ 2 or equivalent in social care/studies or similar.  

Substantive experience of learning disability support/care work
