Pregnancy and Pre-school Project (Previously “1001 Days”)
At LJWB, we recognise the crucial importance of the early part of children’s lives. Child development begins in the womb, and the first 1001 days (from conception to age 2) are crucial to healthy outcomes for your child. During this time, children’s experiences shape brain development and have a lifelong impact on mental and emotional health.
We have designed a programme to support families throughout their child’s most critical developmental period. Our support activities start with pregnant mothers and continue throughout the first 5 years of your child’s life.
The MAZCC has a well-equipped playroom offering experiences and opportunities for children to learn through play, develop socially, and prepare for nursery, whilst parents/carers meet others in a warm and friendly environment.
