1 in 4 Dinner with Jason Manford

LJWB are delighted to announce this year’s 1 in 4 dinner with the multi award winning comedian Jason Manford.
Jason is a familiar face on television, having hosted Big Heads (ITV1), The Olivier Awards (ITV1), Sunday Night At The Palladium (ITV1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1), Michael McIntyre’s Big Show (BBC1), 3 appearances on The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1) and many others. The ‘1 in 4’ dinner will raise money for our Wellbeing Support Services. LJWB supports the Wellbeing of 1 in 4 families in the Community through a variety of support services. National statistics show that 1 in 4 of the general population continue to suffer from some form of mental health problem in their lives in the UK and none of us are immune.

THE LISTENING LINE is a new, free service from The Arnie & Essie Helpline.

Are you, or someone you know:

  • Living Alone
  • Living away from family & friends
  • Recently out of hospital
  • Feeling lonely or down
  • Socially isolated
  • Recently bereaved
  • Experiencing a significant change to daily living

Our trained staff & volunteers will contact you by telephone, to offer a hand of friendship, a listening ear or just a chat on a regular basis, Monday – Friday 8am-12noon

LJWB have commissioned a play  in celebration of their 140th year. There will be 2 performances on 6th February, 2.30pm & 6.30pm, at the MAZCC. Places are free of charge but MUST be reserved as capacity is limited.
