Volunteer Awards

During national volunteers week we gave a huge thank you to all of our 240 fabulous volunteers at the first LJWB Volunteering Awards.

LJWB Volunteer Awards recognise and celebrate the significant achievements and lasting impact our volunteers make to our community. We wouldn’t be here without our volunteers. Our organisation was started by a volunteer almost 140 years ago, and today they’re more important to us than ever. This year we know we have worked with hundreds of volunteers to make everything we do both inside the centre and outside in the community run smoothly. We want to recognise everyone at the awards who have a part to play in the fantastic work our volunteers do.

In 2015 and 2016 the Volunteer Awards the wonderful achievements of all our volunteers were celebrated in style with a delicious afternoon tea.
