Learning Disabilities – Residential

Our three homes for adults with learning disabilities – Lily Thomson, Lynda Cohen and Montague Burton are the only Jewish residential Learning Disability homes in Leeds.  Registered and inspected by Leeds City Council and the Care Quality Commission each Kosher home is maintained to a very high standard.  A recent CQC inspection report found that people living in our homes ‘were involved in their care and were supported to lead fulfilling lives and be part of their community.’  There are 20 key standards which govern the care provided in residential homes.  Go to www.cqc.org.uk to find out more.  Everyone who lives in our homes is encouraged to take part in the running of the home including the interior decoration, fixtures and fittings and even the purchase of a new car.

If you know anyone who has learning disabilities and may need the support provided by living in a residential setting, please contact our Registered Care Team on 0113 237 0874
